“Keele’s dedication to pioneering research and its commitment to sustainability create a vibrant environment for exploring new scientific frontiers. These are exciting times for interdisciplinary science, as we develop new approaches at the interfaces of traditional disciplines and apply our learning to create healthier, safer, and more sustainable lives.
“I am especially looking forward to working with colleagues at Keele to create fulfilling learning experiences and strong future prospects for everyone in our School’s community and to follow the impact of our collective efforts at regional, national, and international forums.”
Professor Mark Ormerod, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost, added: “We’re delighted to make such a strong, experienced and exciting appointment to this pivotal position, at a time when there are some significant successes in the School to build on in terms of research grant capture, national student survey performance and league table rankings.
“Tasnim brings fresh, distinctive approaches to designing innovative curricula, fostering inclusive cultures, communicating cross-disciplinary research, and growing external partnerships with industry. We believe we have secured an exceptional leader to advance the teaching, research and external engagement agendas of the School and contribute to the growth and success of the Faculty.”
