Working within the School of Health at Leeds Beckett University, the Head of Nursing will play a key role in shaping the School’s strategic direction through a commitment to nurturing a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching, research and knowledge exchange.

You will be joining a fantastic health ecosystem in Leeds with close working relationships between Universities, Health and Care providers, Leeds City Council, and strong strategic relationships with Private, Independent and Voluntary Organisations.

The Director of IT will be responsible for delivering a new technology strategy that meets the aspirations and objectives contained within the new University strategy to 2030 and providing for the 24/7 needs of a community of c23,000 individuals.  Providing inspirational leadership to teams of highly qualified professionals will be key to your success in this role as will be your ability to positively manage relationships with complex stakeholder groups and customers.

Reporting to the Director of Estates & Facilities, the Capital Projects Manager is a newly created role responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery through robust project management and governance frameworks. Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, you will play a key role in financial oversight, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

The Director of Estates & Facilities is a newly created role and will be a member of the Executive Committee, reporting to the Principal, responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational management for the College’s estate and facilities services which will support the overall RNCM Strategy and provide services fitting of a world-class Conservatoire.

The successful candidate will be a clear strategic thinker, and a professionally qualified accountant with extensive successful management experience of equivalent services in large and complex multi-site organisations. As a technical expert you will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work collegiately with all internal and external partners.

As our new Pro Vice Chancellor and member of the University’s Leadership Team, you will lead our ambitious education plan to streamline our curriculum and make our education more interactive and student-centred as we deliver a new institutional strategy through to 2030 aimed at innovating to enrich lives.  You will provide expert academic leadership, driving innovation and change whilst also ensuring that we maintain and develop our reputation for leading edge technology-enhanced learning. Student voices are integral to university decision making.

With a new campus opening in Barrow in September 2025 and work underway on the new Citadels campus in Carlisle, the University of Cumbria’s Director of Estates and Commercial Services will help the university deliver their strategic ambitions across their multiple sites by ensuring the effective and efficient planning, creation and operation of the university’s Estate. As a member of the University Leadership team you will provide strategic direction across all aspects of the Directorate by developing a vision for future estate options, championing the development of an integrated approach to environmental sustainability, and enabling the development of commercial services.
